CHINESE NEW YEAR

The purpose of learning this is because our final project which is a window display of festival. We have to choose one festival and do the mind map and having a concept of the festival before we go in to the next class. So I had choose Chinese New Year because this is the only thing that I know more about it. Actually I am quite excited to Chinese New Year because we got "Ang Pao" , new cloth and all the family member will reunion. So and make my concept base on the reunion dinner. Reunion dinner is something that everyone will do no matter how poor or how rich they are.

Finally we having a holiday but during this holiday we were busy. We need to continue to do our project 2. I had do some research base on the reunion dinner and how important it is for Chinese people. So I do some sketch base on it . I want to do a restaurant for some oversea people or some people who don't have parent. This restaurant and can them feel the Chinese New Year surrounding. They can know new friend and they can gather together after they know each other. So every Chinese New Year that can have some one stay whit them.

This week I had show Miss A about my sketches and mind map on Monday. Miss A say my concept is ok but need to make some change. I want to use the bamboo to create the rooftop and the entrance. Inside I want to somethings that people can taking picture. But at the end I decide to change it because I think this cannot really represent Chinese New Year. The reason to change is not because of the concept cannot but is because of the design and I really cannot think of other design which can relate to reunion diner. So I change to another concept which can really represent Chinese New Year. I make it become the symbol of luck. Like every Chinese people like to having a good luck in the whole year so I decide to make this. I had do some sketches and some research.
